Robert Heller, President & CEO (rheller@merlinsoftech.com)
Robert is the founder of Merlin Software Technologies International Inc. It is his vision that has
directed Merlin to its position today. Robert began his career at Tandy Corporation (Radio Shack) in
England where he spent six years in a number of managerial positions and was offered the position of
Western Regional Computer Sales Manager in Canada shortly before leaving the company in 1982. |
| Robert has more than 20 years experience in the high-tech industry, of which 15 were managing his own
software development company and spent two years as President of an Internet Service Provider. Robert has
a software engineering background and has provided systems analysis, business requirements analysis, system
design and development for many companies including Unisys, Xerox and NCR Corporation, amongst others.
Robert continues to provide technology consulting advice to a number of companies and has recently accepted
an invitation to sit on the technology advisory board of Virtual Access Networks. Robert graduated from
college in England having successfully completed courses in English, History and Sociology. He is married
with two children, is an accomplished musician, licensed pilot and participates in a number of competitive
sports activities. |

Trevor McConnell, Chief Financial Officer
Trevor has provided extensive accounting services to private and
not-for-profit enterprises and acted as a consultant to a legal practice
specializing in real estate matters. He is a member of the Certified General
Accountants Association of British Columbia.
Trevor has 20 years experience in accounting and financial management. He
was Director of Finance and Administration for the Canadian subsidiary of a
North American environmental engineering company and was Vice President of
Finance, for a publicly traded manufacturer of automotive accessories for
OEM manufacturers including GM, Daimler-Chrysler, Honda, Nissan and Mazda.

Robert G. Murray, Chief Marketing Officer (bmurray@merlinsoftech.com)
Robert was General Manager of Compaq Computer Corporation's North American networking products business unit until March 2000.
At Compaq he was responsible for creating the complete sales and marketing organization for Compaq's network product offering
as well as the business unit's P&L.Prior to joining Compaq in 1997, Murray was Marketing Vice President for AT&T's
Paradyne business unit and then European Marketing Director for AT&T's Unisource joint venture working out of Amsterdam,
The Netherlands. From 1984 to 1991, Murray was Worldwide Marketing Director for Digital Equipment Corporation's network
business unit. From 1991 to 1993 Murray was Director of Digital's European product marketing working out of Geneva, Switzerland. |

Barry Hagglund, Vice President, Engineering
Barry has almost twenty years experience in various senior positions within the high tech and telecommunications
industries working with such large, international companies as Fujitsu, Nortel & PMC Sierra. Barry Hagglund joined
Merlin from PMC-Sierra where as Director, Product Development he was responsible for all development programs including
hardware, software definition and program planning for strategic development. During his tenure, a number of key
intellectual properties were developed and patented.
After graduating in 1984 from the University of Saskatchewan with a BSEE, he spent seven years at Nortel (Bell-Northern
Research) before moving to Fujitsu Network Transmission Systems as a Senior Manager in Datacomm Product Development.

Randy Halischuk, Director, Marketing Communications
Randy has over 13 years experience in the technology industry, working with
companies in both the enterprise software and network products sector.
Previously, he worked in investor relations and marketing at Infowave
Software and in marketing at Microplex Systems. Randy also served as
Director of Communications and Research for the Canadian Advanced Technology
Association. Randy is responsible for managing Merlin's communication and marketing programs. He holds a
degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University. |

Michael Rauscher, Storage Business Unit Manager
Michael has over 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the computer
industry and has developed marketing strategies for independent retailers,
mass merchandisers and the wholesale distribution channel. Michael's
extensive industry knowledge provides a solid foundation for acting on new
market opportunities and developing successful product marketing strategies.
Michael has been involved in the early stages of a number of high-tech startups
providing product and market analysis. Prior to Merlin he was responsible
for the product management of Linux OS, Firewall, and Web Server Appliance
products at Stormix Technologies Inc.

Jim Herringer, Security/Loss Prevention Business Unit Manager
Jim brings over 17 years of computer and technology experience to Merlin. He has held sales and sales management positions
with Retail Automation of Canada and Minicom Data Corp. and has spent the past 5 years in the security
industry selling and servicing security and loss prevention technologies. He is responsible for managing the development
and marketing of SecurDVR, a digital video recorder for the CCTV security market and SecurCUBE, a security technologies appliance
that integrates all security technologies into a single, easy to use, Internet and intranet enabled device.
