In order to achieve IBM's prestigious Netfinity Server Proven status, ISV's (independent software vendors) such as MERLIN, must pass a rigorous series of tests to validate the functionality of their application on the IBM Netfinity Server. MERLIN's PerfectBackUP+ passed IBM's series of tests.
