announced the pre-loading of PerfectBackUP+TM 6.2 on select models of the recently announced IBM®
ThinkPad® A series and ThinkPad® T-series notebooks.
IBM recently announced that they will be offering the ThinkPad® A20m and T20 models pre-configured
with Caldera OpenLinux eDesktop 2.4 high-performance client software optimized for the Internet.
Caldera's OpenLinux eDesktop is the first pre-load of Linux on an IBM ThinkPad. The pre-load will help
software developers and IT professionals dramatically reduce the time needed to setup and tune the
systems. MERLIN's PerfectBackUP+TM , already bundled with the Caldera eDesktop 2.4 operating system, will
be pre-installed onto the IBM ThinkPad.
