MERLIN Software Names James Baglot Vice President Sales; Former Onvia.com Inc. and Multiactive Executive Now A Part of the Sales and Marketing Team at MERLIN

BURNABY, British Columbia, January 10, 2001 - (BUSINESSWIRE) - MERLIN Software Technologies International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MLSW), a leading provider of Linux based software applications and utilities, today named James Baglot to the position of Vice President of Sales.

Baglot had previously been engaged by MERLIN Software as a senior consultant to provide sales and marketing services to MERLIN, during which time he performed the duties of an acting VP Sales.

Immediately prior to Rocket Builders, Baglot was at Onvia.com (Megadepot) where he was responsible for sales and product management, and at Multiactive Technologies Inc., where he was responsible for sales and marketing.
